"Mommy is still the front-line parent, and Daddy is still the "other". Daddy is still "different". Daddy is still a daughter's defender, her hero, the first man in her life- no matter how old she is."
This website is dedicated in the memory of my Father, David I. Spangler. My Dad passed away April 13, 2000 after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was and always will be my hero. He was a fighter and to the very end he fought hard, but even heroes must die. His legacy will live on through me, and every person who knew him. He left a lasting impression on my life and I know there are tons of other people that will never forget this man.
He will always be my hero. I love you Daddy!
